Yunite is a product of Yunite Technologies Limited - a technology company that offers financial services for Couples in Africa, duly registered under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria having its registered office in Abuja, Nigeria. The conditions on which Yunite Technologies Ltd services are provided to You are outlined in this Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and all other rules displayed on our application. The Terms of Use contain all policies, including the Privacy Policy. Before using the Services, carefully read these Terms of Use. You declare your consent to these Terms of Use by utilizing the Services. You are not permitted to use the Services any longer if you disagree with these Terms of Use.
Acceptance of The Terms of Use
You acknowledge and agree that regardless of how you subscribe to or use the Services, you are understood to have accepted these terms by using the Services. While utilizing the Services, which are an electronic record in the form of an electronic contract, you must adhere to the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and other policies. This electronic contract shall be enforceable in accordance with the applicable terms of any applicable law and rules thereunder, as well as the applicable laws and any updated sections relating to electronic records in various statutes of such law. The terms and conditions, privacy policy, and terms of use for accessing or using the application are published in compliance with the provisions of applicable Nigerian legislation.
For the purposes of these Terms of Use, "Registered User" and, as the context may require, "You" or "User" or "Your" shall refer to any natural or legal person who has consented to use the Services through submitting Registration Data while signing up on the Application as Registered User using the Services and has assigned himself/herself a unique identification user name ("User ID" and "Password") to become a Registered User by supplying a Full Name, Email address, Phone number, Password, Profile image, Address, Marital status, and Government Issued Information: Bank Verification Number (BVN), Identity Card (Driver's License, Passport, Voters Card, or National Identity Card), among other details.
Use Of Services
- Yunite Technologies Ltd hereby grants You a revocable, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right and license to use the Services.
- You will have a restricted right to use the Services in accordance with applicable law.
- You must follow the criteria for Services outlined herein or in a Separate Agreement as may be required by relevant laws in accordance with applicable legislation as updated from time to time.
- Services will continue to apply until discontinued by You or Yunite Technologies Ltd in accordance with the terms set forth below:
In Connection with Using or Accessing the Services You will not
- Violate or bypass any laws, rights of third parties, or our infrastructure, policies, or decisions of Your account status.
- Use Services if You are unable to make legally enforceable contracts under applicable laws. Persons who are "incompetent to contract" under applicable laws, such as children, un-discharged insolvents, and so on, are not eligible to use Services. If You are a minor, You must not register on the application.
- Distribute viruses or other technologies that could harm Yunite Technologies or the interests or property of users.
- Use any device, or other automated method to access Services for any purpose.
- Bypass Services robot exclusion headers interfere with the operation of our Services or put an unreasonable or disproportionately large burden on our infrastructure.
- Commercialize any application or any information or software related with such application
- Harvest or otherwise gather information about users without their knowledge, or;
- Circumvent any technical measures Yunite Technologies uses to deliver the Services.
Yunite Technologies may, in its absolute discretion and without restricting other remedies, restrict, suspend, or terminate Your user account(s) and access to our Services, delay, remove any special status associated with Your account(s), and take technical and/or legal steps to prevent You from using our Services if Yunite Technologies believes that You are abusing our Services in any way.
Yunite Technologies reserves the right to change or discontinue our Services, as well as cancel unconfirmed accounts or accounts that have been dormant for a long time. In addition, Yunite Technologies has the right to reject or discontinue all or a portion of our Services if they are injurious to our Services in any way.
Termination & Term
The Agreement shall remain in effect until it is terminated as described below by You or Yunite Technologies. If Yunite Technologies has given you the opportunity to close your account for all the services you use, you may do so by not using the Service or, if Yunite Technologies has given you that option.

You acknowledge that if Yunite Technologies believes that You have broken any provision of these Terms of Use or any additional Agreement(s), Yunite Technologies may, in its absolute discretion and without advance notification, revoke the use of your account on the application and prohibit Your Service for upcoming access to the Website. Additionally, you acknowledge that any breach of the Agreement(s) by You will result in Yunite Technologies suffering irreparable harm for which money damages may not be adequate, and you consent to Yunite Technologies obtaining any injunctive or equitable relief Yunite Technologies deems necessary or appropriate in such cases.
Upon expiration or termination of these terms for any reason, Yunite may (a) delete all Your registration information, code, documentation, passwords or access codes, mobile number, email address, User's public IP (Internet Protocol) address, Browser Details, Device/Operating System's ("OS") version, and biometrics like fingerprint, facial id, and iris scan, if opted for; along with the documents signed on Yunite ["Customer Data"]
User Account, Password, and Security:
- In order for You to access the Services, You will be required to fill out a registration form according to these terms and conditions, Yunite Technologies will keep such information.
- If you use our services, it is your responsibility to protect the privacy of your account and password, as well as to control who has access to your computer or other devices so that no one else can access your account without your permission. You acknowledge that you are accountable for all actions taken using your account or password. If you have any reason to think that someone else knows your password or if you suspect that it is being used in an unauthorized way, you should take all necessary precautions to keep it private and secure. You should also notify Yunite Technologies right away. If You do not abide by this part, Yunite Technologies cannot and will not be held responsible for any loss or harm that results. If You fail to maintain the security and confidentiality of Your Account Information, You may be held responsible for any losses suffered by Yunite Technologies or any other user of or visitor to the Website as a result of the authorized or unauthorized use of Your account.
- You are responsible for making sure that the details you enter on the Yunite registration form is accurate, complete, and current. It is expressly forbidden to use another user's account information to access the services.
- If You present any information which is false, inaccurate, not up-to-date or inadequate (or becomes false, inaccurate, not up-to-date or inadequate) then Yunite Technologies shall not be responsible for any consequence of the service of Your account whether appropriate or inappropriate in current or subsequent utilization of the Services.
- The failure of third-party services (such as Internet service providers, identity verification providers, and CBN-licensed partner banks) exempts Yunite Technologies from all liability for damages to the extent that these failures occur.
- Security: By using security protocols to prevent unauthorized access, end-to-end encryption for sensitive information, restricting public visibility of data, and making sure that only the user (the owner and spouse) and the company can access it, Yunite protects Your information from illicit use or disclosure. Taking appropriate organizational and technical steps to protect our systems against unauthorized access, use, or alteration.
- Except as otherwise specified above, You acknowledge and agree that You shall not, without Yunite Technologies's prior written consent, copy, republish, post, display, translate, transmit, reproduce, or distribute any content through any medium.
Intellectual property Rights
- The text, imagery, user interfaces, visual interfaces, music and sound effects (if any), artwork, and computer code (collectively, the "Content") are all property of Yunite Technologies, and their design, structure, selection, coordination, expression, look and feel, and arrangement are all protected by copyright, patent, trademark, and other laws. By no means are any implied or express rights in respect of such content granted to You through Your use of the Service. The content may occasionally be changed or modified at Yunite Technologies's sole discretion.
- Yunite Technologies is the owner of the trademarks, logos, and service marks ("Marks") used and displayed on the Internet. You are not allowed to use the marks without first receiving Yunite Technologies's approval.
- Yunite Technologies owns all intellectual property rights to and into the trademarks, including, without limitation, any and all rights, title, and interest in and to copyright, related rights, patents, utility models, designs, know-how, trade secrets, and inventions (patent pending), goodwill, source code, meta tags, databases, text, and logos, unless otherwise stated, anything contained to the contrary, or any proprietary material owned by a third party and so expressly mentioned.
- Except as otherwise specified above, You acknowledge and agree that You shall not, without Yunite Technologies's prior written consent, copy, republish, post, display, translate, transmit, reproduce, or distribute any content through any medium.
Privacy
The preservation of Your privacy is a core value to Yunite Technologies. The fact that Yunite Technologies stores and processes Your Information, including any sensitive financial information collected in accordance with the applicable laws, shows that Yunite Technologies clearly understands the importance of You and Your personal information. In addition, Yunite Technologies guarantees that any Personal Information you provide will be protected on computers using reasonable technological security safeguards and physical security measures in line with the law. Disclaimer of Warranties and Liability
You hereby acknowledge and agree that Yunite Technologies shall not, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, be liable for any loss that you may suffer as a result of any unauthorized use of your account or account information in connection with any of its services, whether done with or without your knowledge. While Yunite Technologies makes every effort to ensure that all the material on the website was accurate, it neither guarantees nor makes any claims as to the effectiveness, completeness, or quality of any data, information, product, or service.
Yunite Technologies disclaims all liability for any delays in or inability to use the application or any associated functionalities or services, as well as for any information, software, products, or other outcomes resulting from the use of the services. Furthermore, Yunite Technologies will not be held liable for any unplanned suspension of access to the website that may happen for technical reasons or for any other reason without Yunite Technologies's control. Periodic maintenance operations may cause the application to be unavailable during these times.
Indemnification
Despite anything else in this Agreement, the parties hereby agree that Yunite Technologies shall have no responsibility or liability for any failure of any activity, including but not limited to any activity that may have been initiated by You and/or a third party through Services and has failed or been delayed due to the process of authentication and acceptance of Your data by third party system. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Yunite Technologies its subsidiaries, affiliates, vendors, agents, and their respective directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents (hereinafter individually and collectively referred to as "indemnified parties") from and against any and all losses, liabilities, claims, suits, proceedings, penalties, interests, damages, demands, costs and expenses (including legal and other statutory fees and disbursements in connection therewith and interest chargeable thereon) asserted against or incurred by the indemnified parties that arise out of, result from, or in connection with (i) Your breach of the Agreement(s); or (ii) any claims made by any third party due to, or arising out of, or in connection with, Your use of the Website / Services; or (iii) Your violation of any rights of another, including any intellectual property rights.
Communication via electronic means
When You use the application, or send emails or other data, information, or communication to Yunite Technologies, You acknowledge and agree that You are interacting with Yunite Technologies through electronic records, and You provide consent to receive communications from Yunite Technologies via electronic records on a periodic and as- needed basis. Yunite Technologies will communicate with You via email or text message, which shall be deemed adequate service of intimation / electronic record to the greatest extent permissible by applicable law.
Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement: This agreement (including all Attachments hereto and all documents incorporated herein by reference): (a) constitutes the parties' entire agreement with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes any previous or contemporaneous oral or written agreements, as well as any other communications between the parties.
Assignment: You are prohibited from assigning this Terms of Use or any of its rights or obligations hereunder, whether voluntarily, involuntarily, by operation of law, or otherwise, without the prior written consent of Yunite Technologies. However, Yunite Technologies may, in its sole discretion, transfer its rights and obligations (also known as "assign") under this Terms of use without Your prior authorization.
Notices: All notices essential to be served according to the terms of this Terms of Use and Privacy Policy shall be in writing and shall be deemed to have been duly delivered five (5) business days after their mailing, by registered mail, or served through the respective party's Email ID, which shall be deemed delivered upon delivery of e-mail.
Policy modifications: We reserve the right to make modifications to these Terms of Service at any time, so please check back frequently to stay up to date. The most recent version of these Terms and Conditions will always be available on the Website. Any new version of these Terms of Service will take effect and govern Your use of the Services and Your relationship with us promptly upon publication. You agree to be governed by the terms of these modifications and updates by continuing to use the Service.
